Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) and the Teaching of Science: Determiners for Professional Development

The study investigates how Science teachers articulate their self-confidence in teaching with technology. Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) is used as the primary tool to describe practice. Using a quantitative approach, an initial survey of 408 science from 59 secondary schools state East Malaysia, descriptive and inferential statistics were conducted assess teachers’ level TPACK discriminate differences between perceptions on related experience. Findings revealed that (CK), (PK), (TK) (PCK) are high, comparison (TCK), (TPK) which recorded at moderate level. also found more extensive experience reported higher confidence CK, PK PCK.
